Yu Rang Park is professor of Health Innovation Bigdata Center (Bigdata Center) and IT director of the Clinical Trial Center at Asan Medical Center, South Korea. She received her master’s and doctoral degrees in biomedical informatics from Seoul National University, South Korea. She is a data scientist with background in data mining and statistics with a focus on predictive modeling and natural language processing of narrative text in clinical chart. She is currently conducting research on medical informatics and bioinformatics at Asan Medical Center in Seoul. She is also in charge of standardization for data sharing of clinical genomic data at Asan Medical Center.
