Priyamvada (Priya) Desai is the product manager for Research IT at the Stanford School of Medicine and the product manager for STaRR: Stanford Medicine Research Data Repository.
Prior to this role, she was a Biomedical Scientist at the Stanford Department of Genetics and Stanford Center for Genomics and Personalized Medicine. Prior to a career in Data Science in the biomedical area, she was an astrophysicist with Space Science Laboratory in UC Berkeley and Chandra Software Data Systems Group at the Center for Astrophysics in Cambridge, MA. She has a Masters in Physics from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
