My graduate studies in computational science gave me a strong foundation in bioinformatics and healthcare informatics using machine learning and data mining techniques as well as statistical methods.
My research interests are; firstly, using my expertise I would like to focus on identifying the biomarkers for the therapeutic targets based on the specific gene expression patterns and biological pathways in translational research for the development of novel therapeutics aimed at treating common diseases. Secondly, I would like to devote myself to investigate clinical big-data including OMOP CDM data. Although it’s a new area for me, it should be a very interesting and promising field towards precision medicine as it combines and standardizes clinical de-identified data never be utilized well before.
