Dr. Posada is currently a Sr. Clinical Data scientist at Stanford University. He is currently affiliated with the Stanford Center for Biomedical Informatics Research working in the lab of Dr. Nigam Shah and with School of Medicine Research IT working with Dr. Somalee Datta. Previously Dr. Posada was a Ph.D. Fellow at the Biomedical Informatics Department at the University of Pittsburgh where he received his Ph.D. in Biomedical Informatics. He previously received an MSc and B.Sc. in Engineering from Universidad del Norte in Barranquilla, Colombia. His main research interest lies in developing new methods in clinical natural language processing and the deployment of such methods at large scale.
