Yuriy Sverchkov is an Assistant Scientist at the Department of Biostatistics and Medical Informatics at the School of Medicine and Public Health of the University of Wisconsin-Madison. His research focuses on the development of machine learning and statistical methods for medical and systems biology data, with a focus on graphical models. He is also involved in the development of software tools for statistical data analysis.
Yuriy received his Bachelor’s degrees in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (2008), and his PhD in Intelligent Systems from the University of Pittsburgh (2014).
