With over 25 years of experience in the computer science field Mr. Khayter, founder of Ephir, Inc., brings a wealth of healthcare and computer industry knowledge. During the past four years Mr. Khayter has designed and managed implementation of a variety of Reagan-Udall Foundation, OMOP projects, encompassing the development and management of IMEDS Research Lab, CDM and Vocabulary design, performing variety of ETL conversions from source EHR and claims data to OMOP Common Data Model format.
Within the last decade Mark concentrated on a pharmaceutical and healthcare industry. Prior to performing consulting and starting Ephir Inc., he was a founder and executive of the Boston Software Collaborative Inc. (BSC). That company grew to 60 employees after which it was successfully sold. Prior to that Mr. Khayter held a position of CTO at Medicare Advantage Review Associates.
At OHDSI Mr. Khayter is actively involved in CDM v5 design as well as a contributing member to visualization tools.
