Nathan Hall is a manager within the Epidemiology department of the Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson. He received his Master of Science in Biostatistics from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and his Bachelor of Science in Public Health from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Nathan has previously worked at Massachusetts Eye & Ear Hospital as the Manager of the Harvard Ophthalmology Data Science Research Group and as Biostatistician, as an Associate in Ophthalmology at Harvard Medical School, an Adjunct Instructor at Merrimack College, and an independent statistical consultant. Most of Nathan’s experience revolves around statistical programming and analysis, with an emphasis on R statistical computing, database querying, developing intercave R shiny applications, package management, and software development. Epidemiology, statistical methodology, observational health data analytics, ophthalmic research, clinical trials, data science, data visualization, and machine learning some of Nathan’s favorite areas of research and expertise.
