Akira Izumi specializes in data-related technology R&D and consulting.
He uses data science and artificial intelligence, leading many practical projects such as PoC related data science and emerging technologies, business strategy for AI, building data science CoE organization and talent development, analytics process standard, data governance, data platform construction, personal data utilization and anonymization, etc.
In order to contribute not only to short-term business but also future social systems(esp. Medical) based on data science and AI, he is creating the social-valued data scientist training course as a special associate professor at Kyoto University(Course planning and teaching).
