3- Is there a fee to attend the Symposium?
No, symposium attendance is free. This year we also have a free registration with donation ticket.

After you registered for the symposium, you received an Eventbrite email confirmation. That email asked you to create an Eventbrite account. If you have an Eventbrite account and ordered a free registration ticket, you can log back in and change or cancel your registration.
If you ordered a free registration with donation ticket, please contact us at symposium@ohdsi.org. Donations cannot be refunded but we will cancel your symposium attendance.
6- How do I register for the tutorial workshops on Thurs, October 11 and/or Saturday, Oct 13 at the Bethesda North Marriott? Is there a fee for the workshops and may I register for more than one workshop?
Tutorial registration is now closed. You may add your name to a workshop wait list by clicking on the blue button and filling out the form. If you are accepted into the workshop, you will receive a workshop acceptance ticket via email.
Tutorial Workshop Wait List Form7- How will I know if I am accepted to attend a tutorial on October 11 or Oct 13?
If you paid for a tutorial workshop, you will be guaranteed a seat in the course. If you choose the free waitlist option, you will be be notified via email by September 7, 2018 to confirm your tutorial attendance. All seats are on a first-come, first-serve basis.
8- If I am registered for a tutorial am I automatically registered for the Symposium on October 12?
No, Symposium and Tutorial registration are separate.
9- How do I submit an abstract for the collaborator showcase at the Symposium on October 12th?
We are no longer accepting submissions for the showcase as the deadline has passed.
10- How can I become a sponsor at the 2018 OHDSI Symposium?

11- Are there hotel rooms being offered at the Bethesda North Marriott for the Symposium?
There is currently no guest-room block being held at the hotel. Please call the hotel reservations number directly to inquire about guest-room rates and availability. We suggest that you call asap as October is a busy month and rooms will probably sell out.
12- Will meals be provided on Friday, October 12, at the Symposium?
Lite breakfast items and lunch will be offered at the Symposium on Friday, October 12, in the Grand Ballroom. In addition, a reception will take place after the Symposium. Please check the agenda for details as we get closer to the event date.
13- Will there be a webcast of the Symposium?
No, there is no webcast of the symposium. The General Session and Tutorials will be available via video on our website two weeks after the symposium concludes.
