Digital Healthcare Research Center develops digital health-related technology, methodologies of clinical application and coordination of digital healthcare. Main fields are implementation of data-driven medicine based on medical informatics and medical big data build-up, and studying health improvement effects and business models by developing clinically valuable care models for many clinical conditions through connected health.
Gastroenterology lab studies gastrointestinal endoscopy, ESD and other endoscopic treatments of early colon cancer, clinical efficacy of probiotics, intestinal microbiota, colon cancer genetics focused on DNA mismatch repair system and Lynch syndrome.
