Gal Levy-Fix is a PhD student at the Department of Biomedical Informatics at Columbia University. Her adviser is Dr. Noémie Elhadad. Gal’s research focuses on leveraging data mining and data visualization techniques with large patient health record data to uncover actionable information for clinicians.
Gal has several years of work experience in data analytics in economic consulting and the nonprofit sector. She earned an MA in Economics from NYU and a BS in Financial Economics from University of Toronto.
