This tutorial is partof the 2016 OHDSI Symposium. It will take place on Saturday, September 24th at the Washington Hilton in Washington DC.

Learning objective and technical competency:

  • Learn the structure and content of the OHDSI vocabularies
  • Learn to browse and explore vocabulary relationships
  • Build concept-set expressions
  • Prerequisites:

  • Basic familiarity with medical terminologies, such as ICD-9-CM, SNOMED, NDC, RxNorm, CPT4, LOINC
  • Laptop with web access (will be using ohdsi.org/web/ATLAS)
