This tutorial is partof the 2016 OHDSI Symposium. It will take place on Saturday, September 24th at the Washington Hilton in Washington DC.
Learning objectives and technical competencies:
- Learn the OMOP CDM v5 community standard (data structure, content, conventions)
- Design an ETL specification using WhiteRabbit
- Build a OMOP CDM database in a RDBMS
- Evaluate data quality using ACHILLES
Pre-requisites:
- Knowledge of relational database schemas
- Laptop, ability to download and install Java application (for WhiteRabbit), install R (for ACHILLES)
- For hands-on exercise:
- 1) Download SYNPUF data and load into local PostgresQL database
- or 2) have access to a different source data in RDBMS or csv format
